Dear Owners and Residents of Craigleith Shores Condominiums, 

This letter is from your new Board of Directors.

We are very pleased to inform you that as of November 1st , 2022, Shore to Slope Management Services Inc., based in Collingwood ON, will assume the responsibility of day to day management, operations and duties for Craigleith Shores and GCC #12.

After several meetings and much discussion, the Board was unanimous in their decision to make a change in Property Management and begin a search for a “local” company that would better serve our current needs.

Mareka Property Management was served a 60-day notice of termination at the beginning of September. With respect to the process of searching for and retaining a new Property Management Company, the Board short listed three companies based on a set of criteria we considered imperative in an optimal fit for Craigleith Shores. Our list included things such as: being local, quick response time, experience, size of company, depth and quality of personnel, regular site visits, knowledge of pools and maintenance, strong track record and referrals.

We interviewed the owners of 3 different highly qualified Property Management companies and after another meeting we unanimously selected Shore to Slope Management Services.

Gary Kennedy, owner of Shore to Slope, will personally assume the responsibility of being our property Manager, something the Board considered an important factor in its decision. Gary is acutely aware of the specific challenges we face and is already working closely with the Board and his team to transition records and files, review vendor contracts, rules & regs, plan an initial “official” site visit, plus get up to speed on issues requiring immediate attention.

In closing, our plan is to hold a “Meet and Greet” and information meeting later in the fall with Gary and members of the Board. Owners will have the opportunity to introduce themselves, ask questions, address issues or concerns plus learn more about future initiatives, and the direction your Board and Shore to Slope are currently working on.
